What is Google redirect virus?

Google Redirect Virus is one of the most powerful and common virus infection in windows system. This virus is designed to redirect your search engine results to malicious websites, making it impossible to search any information via search engine like google. How To Manually Remove Google Redirect Virus?

You must remove Google redirect virus from your system when you notice it. Manual way would be a little difficult and require high skill.

1. Identify the malicious processes that is related to Google redirect virus. Open Task Manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, go to Processes tab, highlight malicious processes and then click End Process button

2. delete Google Redirect Virus registry keys. Open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows “Start” button and selecting “Run.” Type “regedit” into the box and click “OK.” Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE–>Software–>Google Redirect Virus.” Right-click this registry key and select “Delete.”

3. Manually remove other Google Redirect Virus files. The files of this virus can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. You need to identify those files and delete them.
