Five Most Commonly Used Key Combinations by Advanced PC Users

Do you known the following five key combinations? They are very helpful and convenient when you try some computer operations, so that they are most commonly used by many advanced computer users. If you didn’t know these key combinations, just learn and try it, and hope they are helpful for you.

1. WINDEY+D
This is the most common used shortcut key combination. It can instantly minimize all the windows on the desktop, whether it is a chat window or a Game window. Press this key combination again will restore all those windows.

2. WINKEY+F
You don’t need to move your mouse to click “Start -> Search -> For Files and Folders”. In any state, the search window will pop up once you press WINKEY+F.

3. WINKEY+R
You may always find an operation instruction like this: click “Start -> Run” to open the “Run” window…Actually, there is an easier way to reach it: press WINKEY+R.

4. ALT+TAB
If there are too many opened windows, this key combination should be very useful. By pressing ALT+TAB, the names and icons of all current opened windows can be shown in a small window; select the window you want to open, and then release this key combination. And ALT+TAB+SHIFT can reverse the display of the current opened windows.

5. WINKEY+E
When you need to open the Resource Manager to find a file, this key combination will make you feel extremely convenient. You no longer have to vacate a hand to click your mouse.

Tip:
WINKEY refers to the key engraved with the Windows logo on keyboard. WINKEY mainly presents in keyboard with 104 and 107 keys. 104-key keyboard, also known as Win95 keyboard, adds the Windows key and a Properties Associated Key on both sides of the keyboard, between the Ctrl and Alt keys. 107-key keyboard, also known as Win98 keyboard, contains more power management keys, such as sleep, wake up, power, etc, which are mostly in the top right of the keyboard.
